Security lock that combines regular and security locking.
Easy to use when you´re at home, secure when you´re out.

When you´re at home, it´s easy to open and lock the door with a thumbturn.
When leaving the house, you can block the thumbturn with a nipple located on the lock´s end panel, and it becomes impossible to open the door without a key. When you come home and open the door with the key, the thumbturn´s function returns automatically.

The lock set includes: lock frame ASSA 2000, strike 1887-1, double-sided lock cylinders 5712 (includes 5 keys and a security key card), cylinder cover set 3212, side cover plate with thumbturn 4294-60, Assa handle 1956
Surface covering: satin chrome

Other available surface finishes: bright chrome and brass.

Duplicating keys only when the security card of the key is presented.

Using the lock:
1. When at home, open and close the door with the thumbturn.
2. When leaving the house, set the lock in the security position: push the nipple on the end panel DOWN - this blocks the thumbturn.
3. Lock the door. NOW YOU CAN OPEN THE DOOR FROM BOTH INSIDE AND OUTSIDE ONLY WITH THE KEY.
When opening the door with the key, the thumbturn´s function returns automatically.
