By adjusting the hexagonal bolt on the rear reverse of the lock key can be removed both locked and unlocked positions.

If you buy more than one furniture locks, you might want to consider having them master keyed. 
     Master keying of furniture locks for one key is common. This enables you to open several locks with the same key.
