Nobody wants to enter through a door, which is bothersome and inconvenient to open. To avoid such situation, various aspects of use and convenience should be considered before purchasing a door handle.

Purpose of a handle
Often key is used to open the door instead of handle, saving money on account of the handle. The door is pulled open with the key, not thinking of potential damage caused to the lock cylinder and the key. In order to avoid damaging the lock and keys, we recommend to install a door handle.
Before choosing a door handle you should decide the price class of the handle. When purchase budget has been established, it will be easier to select handles and make final decision.
Door type
When selecting a handle, think of the installation environment. Doors can be classified as follows: interior, exterior, gate, sliding or sauna door.
Simple handles may be installed to interior doors, which are not used intensely. Handles made of zinc alloy or aluminium can be used with interior doors. Such handles are cheaper and the available range is wide.
A gate handle should be weather-resistant and light. Gate frame is often made of 40mm square duct not enabling to install a regular exterior door handle. In such conditions we recommend aluminium door handles.
In case of a sliding door you should install a pull handle on the door surface or, if there is no sufficient space, a sliding door handle.
For a sauna door a wooden knob or pull handle should be chosen. Handles made of other materials will become hot in a sauna and the door is difficult to open.

Interior and design
In order to achieve an integral appearance, it is essential to fit the door handle into the remaining interior. Is it a contemporary or antique environment, with dominating modest or, on the contrary, bright colours? All details should be taken into account in the interest of an integral appearance.
Design handle
What is the difference between door handle, doow knob and pull handle?
We use door handle in the places where the door is locked with fastener. When the handle is pushed, the fastener will move into the mortise lock and the door will open.
Pull handle is a handle that can be grasped, and the door will open by pulling or pushing. Pull handle is used more in public buildings (schools, hospitals, retail centres etc.) with many visitors.
Door knob is used in the places, where handle or pull handle cannot be used or it is not practical. Door knobs are fixed (static) or they can be turned. The first option is used as replacement for a pull handle, the second as replacement for a regular handle.
Knobs that can be turned are practical, if you have a dog or cat at home, who can use the door handle to open the door. In case of a knob this is not possible.
